Naro-Fominsk, Russia

The team "Nara-Desna" represents Naro-Fomisnk to the Moscow area (a southwest direction on the Kiev highway - to Kaluga). The prefix "Nara" (an accent on the first syllable) has appeared from the name of the river "Nara" on which Naro-Fominsk is located.

Various teams of Naro-Fominsk after war participated in the Soviet Union championships and superiority of sports societies. The present team is established in 1994 of the Name of a team: "Nara" - 1994-2002, "Nara-Desna" since 2003.

In 2003 and 2004 participated in the championship and a cup of the Moscow area (third division KFK). Contenders of ""Nara-Desna" on group "B" of the championship of the Moscow area were teams SK "Bronnitsy", "Motorist" (Noginsk), "Kosmos" (Electrostal), FK "Dolgoprudnyj", before acted in 2-nd league. In 2004 became the winner of the championship and a cup, having won the permit in 2-nd battalion. The winner of group " A" became a team "Lokomotiv-Mostotryad> (Serpukhov) which in this season acts in a zone "Center". "Nara-Desna", accordingly, has got in a zone "West". On results of performance in the past season 2005, the team has got in the five of the strongest, taken the fifth place.

Up to 2005 the team acted in the central stadium of city. However the field on it artificial surface and consequently "Nara-Desna" receives visitors on a field of stadium "Stroitel" in settlement Selyatino of Naro-Fominsk area, with 3500 places on which the female combined team of Russia, by the way, plays.
