For the first time the newspaper under the name "Mayak" has left in 1920. For 6 years earlier, than Naro-Fominsk has found the status of city. "Weekly newspaper of Naro-Fominsk" edited famous M.Plisetsky.

In 1929 the edition leaves already under other name: "Osnova" ("Basis") - the weekly newspaper of workers and employees of Naro-Fominsk weaving mill. Year of 1931. Collectivization, industrialization - the country promptly develops. And the newspaper gets the new name - "Za bol'shevitskie tempy". In 1937 once again it varies - "Stalinets". The newspaper with such name left within 30 years, only sometimes specifying, whose body it is. With approach in 1956 of "thawing weather", after XX congress, the newspaper leaves under the name "Leninskiy put'" ("the Lenin way"). Since 1965 - "Znamya Il'icha" ("the Banner of Ilyich"). In 1991 after a re-registration the newspaper for the first time became political and has returned to itself one of former names - Osnova ("Basis").

In different years in edition of the regional newspaper worked as M.F.Samojlova, G.D.Zharko, T.Belokurova, M.V.Shvalev, I.N.Ivanin, G.M.Bigeev, V.A.Zalotukha, L.P.Orlova, A.I.Filatov, G.P.Ivanichev, N.N.Gerasimov, Z.I.Khoroshinina, V.V.Udalov, A.P.Ulyanov, A.A.Vedernikov, V.L.Kazakova, O.V.Kienko and others. The editorial collective was headed N.Zernov, K.P.Zavyalov, K.I.Sidorychev, S.I.Gagarin, N.A.Korneev, G.S.Chupyrina, N.N.Polyakov, V.P.Grebenyuk, B.V.Sabitov, V.A.Trushin, Chernyshova N.A.'s by editors

In a year of the 80 anniversary edition of the newspaper became winner of the Russian festival of mass-media "All Russia - 2000".
